Overview
This course offers the opportunity to use the Content Engine Java API class libraries to develop custom applications that access the IBM FileNet P8 4.0 Content Engine. In order to practice these skills, you will write code and test content management functions using IBM FileNet P8 Content Manager system.

This is a course for programmers responsible for the design and development of custom Content Manager applications,and anyone who needs to know the capabilities of the Content Engine API for Java-based applications.

Prerequisites

Getting Started with IBM FileNet P8 (F000)
Recommended: IBM FileNet P8 Platform Administration (F002)

You should have:
Basic programming in Java-based technologies
Content management concepts
Knowledge of XML is a plus
